Self-Doubt
Hey friends, happy Sunday!
When we're first starting out it's easy to doubt yourself.
You think what you make isn't valuable to others, that no one will buy your product or that there's no point putting in the work because everyone else is so much better.
This self doubt leads to procrastination, inaction and the feeling that you're behind in life.
But we forget two things.
1) Everyone is making it up as they go along
2) The only difference between you and the people doing the things you want to do is that they've done it more times than you.
See when you're first starting out you have one job. And that's to - MAKE MORE STUFF.
That stuff probably won't be very good. Looking back you'll be embarrassed about those first iterations of your work.
The difference between successful entrepreneurs and creators is that they made stuff when no one was watching. They fought the self-doubt and insecurity of their early work which gave them a platform to build on.
Over time that self doubt fades into the background. It will never completely go away but it becomes much easier to handle once you've done it before. The first step is just to make more stuff.
I also made a Youtube video on Self Doubt talking about how I need to make more stuff and overcome self doubt.

Don't Kill Time
(Essay)
This essay really resonated with me. Time is too scarce to ever just "Kill Time". That doesn't mean to say that we should work 24/7 but instead be more intentional about our leisure time.
Breaking nihilism is how we cultivate a fulfilling life. Work and leisure are both gifts to embrace, there's no excuse just to kill time.
II.
Storyworthy
(Book)
Stories are everywhere. The people who tell the best stories in life win. It's not the people with the best ideas, it's the people who are the best at communicating their ideas.
This book lays the framework for finding stories in your life and how to tell better stories. I'd highly recommend it!

How to write an article
(Article)
This is a 10 line article and it contains exactly how to get better at any skill.

Clubhouse is probably going to fail
(Thread)
This thread on why Shaan Puri thinks Clubhouse will fail is great. It's written almost like an episode of Silicon Valley and raises a lot of good points about the areas Clubhouse will struggle.
